RRB Group D Exam is conducted by Railway Recruitment Board. Railway Group D Recruitment 2018 will be conducted to select candidates to the post of Level 1 of 7 CPC Pay Matrix. All those who want to appear for the exam, must submit online application for the same, as mentioned in the Railway Recruitment Group D Notification.

As per the latest announcement, the candidates who will appear in the Group D examination will get their fees refunded by the Indian Railway. The Reserved category will get 100% refund, while the General category will get Rs 400 as the refund.

Age Relaxation (Revised)
Indian Railway has extended the age relaxation in Upper Age Limit for all categories. For general category, the upper age limit has been fixed at 30 years from 28 years. For OBC category it has been revised to 33 years from 31 years. For the SC & ST category, the age relaxation has been fixed at 35 years from 33.

Educational Qualification
1. 10th Pass from Institution recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (As per the latest IR notification, ITI has become non-mandatory for Group D recruitment).
2. 10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th Pass from Institution recognised by NCVT/SCVT.

RRB Group-D pay scale is Rs. 18,000/- (Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus allowances as admissible. The Online Application Process will end on 31st March 2018.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be recruiting to fill total 62,907 vacancies for RRB Group D.

Railway Group D Exam Pattern 2018 comprises of CBT or Computer Based Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification. Let's have a look at these stages of CBT in detail.

First stage of CBT
♦ The minimum percentage of marks to qualify for second round in various categories : UR-40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST-30%.

♦ 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
♦ The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.

You should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down. You should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
You should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. You should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

Document Verification
♦ Based on the performance of the candidates in the CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates will be called for document verification.
♦ Thereafter, the final selection will be made.

Note: Shortlisted candidates should produce NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature will be cancelled. Signatures of the candidates on all documents should be identical, either in English or Hindi.

The Admit Cards for Railway RRB Exams are released just a couple of weeks before the Exam. You can check this space for the RRB Group D admit card. We will update the post, once the admit cards will be available for download.

The admit card for Railway Group-D 2018 exam will be issued to candidates in two phases:
For CBT
For PET
All candidates must go through the guidelines mentioned on the official website of Railway before downloading his/her admit card.

Results

RRB will be declare the result for CBT after the examination for the same will be conducted. Result will be announced for CBT first. Candidates who clear CBT will be allowed to give PET of Railway Group-D 2018 Exam. Result for PET will be released post the Physical Test for Men's and Women's.

The marks obtained by you in CBT will be counted in the preparation of the final merit list. Therefore, you should try to score maximum marks by keeping the negative marking in mind. Moreover, based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, they will be called for PET two times the community wise total vacancy of the posts notified against RRBs.

To apply for RRB ALP 2018 exam, follow these steps & finish your online registration by following these steps:
You can register through RRB’s official website.
You need to pay the Application fee online using a Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / Cash Cards / Wallets or other online payment methods.
Make sure you use a valid email ID, which you have to keep active until the final declaration of results.
Keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per requirements mentioned in the official notification. You will have to upload these during filling the form.
Pay the Application Fee.
Submit the Application Form.
Take out a Print Out of the Application Form for future reference use.

RRB ALP Admit card will be released on official website just before 8-10 days of the examination. The exams are scheduled to be conducted during April / May month. Thus, candidates required to bring their admit card in order to attend the exam in the centre. Only the eligible candidates will be offered the call letter.
How to Download RRB ALP Admit Card 2018?
Visit RRB ALP Official website.
Choose the respective region/board, and then click on the download the call letter.
Fill the registration number and date of birth & click “Submit”.
Now download call letter & take a print out.

The result of RRB ALP 2018 exam will be released in August month. Candidates can check the result detail on the official website by logging in with their registration number and DOB Password. The list of selected candidates with marks will be available in PDF format in order to check the result sheet. Candidates who have successfully cleared the exam will be eligible for document verification & medical test.
